I found myself in a concert hall yesterday evening. I had not been planning to partake in such an event, but I was pleasantly surprised to find myself wrapped up in a symphony. Can't say that I was familiar with who it was, unfortunately my musical education is lacking, but I have to say there was a certain amount of peace that it gave me. Being trapped in a world of music for just a some bit of time, it's lovely to leave the world around us for even that small amount. Perhaps I'll have to become a more frequent visitor. ( Private to Self )When work is slow it causes the mind to wander to places that often it should not wander to. I find that my current associates are less than thrilling. A bored mind is a very dangerous item to have on your hands, I've discovered. | | Friday, May 15th, 2009 | | 11:07 pm |
( Private to self )The manipulation of populations through policy is a fascinating topic. It is a study of actions and reactions, which can lead to a great deal of guessing along with normal trends. However masses are actually much easier to manipulate than expected. People assume that they are acting as individuals but instead create masses that react similarly. I expect that the hypothesis made by the current political choices in action may come to fruition. If I am wrong though I will be pleasantly surprised. | | Friday, May 1st, 2009 | | 6:18 pm |
